What we will be doing in Rwanda

On June 8th, 2009 John and I will fly to London, meet up with our team, and then head to Gisenyi, Rwanda to work with Simon Pierre and his orphan outreach organization, The Ndengera Foundation. Ndengera currently is caring for 624 orphans whose parents died from HIV/AIDS as well as 190 street children and orphans whose parents died in genocide-related cases. The main project we will be working on is to build a playground at the orphanage. John is hoping to play sports with the kids and I plan to love and cuddle as many kids as I can. We just want to pour out God's love to these kids in as many ways as we can.

  1. Small steps done in faith lead to large strides for His Kingdom. May God richly bless you and provide for all your needs and protection. I know you will be showered with prayer before during and after your trip. I wish we could come with perhaps next time. All Gods joy be to you in your time of preparing for this trip. If you need anything be sure to ask.
